Ergobaby Aura Stretchy Wrap Carrier

We have been patiently (okay not so patiently) waiting for the launch of this amazing wrap! This wrap is everything we love about a stretchy wrap, plus a few extra features that have downright impressed us. The Ergobaby Aura wrap is available in Grey Stripe, Indigo, and Sage and it retails for $49.95.

This wrap fits babies from 8-25 pounds (though given the light nature of this fabric we feel it will be most comfortable before 18 pounds). Though stretchy wraps do have a slight learning curve at the beginning, once you get the hang of it, you will be a wrapping pro in no time! Once you have it all wrapped, you can leave it on all day and just pop baby in and out.

This silky smooth wrap is made from 100% Acai/Eucalyptus Viscose, making it ultra breathable yet supportive and machine washable. You can see just how light this fabric is best from the back view. This will definitely be a million times less hot than the Cotton Wrap hand me down your sweet friend gave you (we love hand me downs, but this is definitely worth the splurge). This wrap is also much cooler than the previous Ergobaby Wrap. Many moms and dads love wearing stretchy wraps shirtless to make kangaroo care more hands free.

One of the most innovative features of this carrier is that it stores in an attached pouch! I LOVE when carriers come with storage bags but this takes the cake (because let’s be honest a pouch can get lost in the diaper bag abyss).

Simply turn the pocket inside out and start stuffing! Or roll/fold it nicely (if you have time for that sort of thing). It’s lightweight fabric packs up compactly and is perfect for stowing in your diaper bag. You can stuff it down even smaller if need be.

After playing with the Ergobaby Aura Wrap, I wish I had a sweet spring baby to snuggle in this all summer long. But I will have to settle for making this wrap my go to stretchy wrap to give to my expectant friends (it definitely makes a wonderful baby shower gift).
