Rumparooz Lil Learners Trainers

Having a kiddo who was slower to potty train/still struggles with bedwetting/soiling has given us the chance to test out the many cloth diaper trainer options.

One that we were actually excited dare we say to try were the Rumparooz Lil Learners. These cloth diaper trainers have SO many smart features that set them apart from the rest.

For starters their smaller sized cloth diaper trainers (size XS & Small) are side snapping. This is great for the more frequent accidents of “lil learners.” Also note that their Extra Small cloth diaper trainer starts fitting at just 15 pounds! That is VERY unique in the cloth diaper training market. Many parents with small trainers are frustrated by how large so many of the options fit.

On the flip side the XL cloth diaper trainer is MUCH larger than other cloth diaper trainers/bedwetting underwear. It goes up to 65 pounds! My son pictured below is 46 pounds and is wearing the XL (and as you can tell they have lots and lots of grow room. We sized up because he will need them long term and the increased room allows him plenty of grow room, as well as space for us to increase the absorbency. Rumparooz suggests adding their newborn size bamboo 6r soaker for this purpose and we can attest that it works great.

Also note that these look a little bulkier than normal because we size up. If we were to be using the Medium size these could almost pass as underwear, instead of a cloth diaper trainer. Such trimness makes them a great option for kids who struggle with minor bowel incontinence long term (something my son struggles with due to a health condition similar to imperforate anus/hirshsprungs disease.

The trainers come in a 2 pack, with one solid and one print. Although it may seem silly to some, I consider the adorable prints the Lil Learners come in to be something that gives them an edge in the cloth diaper training market. Because what kid doesn’t want to pick out cool looking “underwear.”
